Réka Janosik is an Executive Director in MSCI’s risk management research team. MSCI is a leading provider of critical decision support tools, services and data for the global investment community. Réka’s team works in close collaboration with MSCI’s Climate Research Team on creating industry-leading research-enhanced solutions to help investors understand how climate change could affect their portfolios, identify low carbon investment opportunities, and set net-zero targets. She was a lead researcher in MSCI Total Portfolio Carbon Footprinting, a product to measure the CO2e emissions linked to an investment portfolio, and Climate-Adjusted Default Probabilities that quantifies the potential impact of climate change to corporate default probabilities. Prior to her current role, Réka led the credit-derivatives-pricing team. She earned a master’s degree in financial mathematics from Corvinus University of Budapest.
