Annamária Fehér
Annamária Fehér holds a degree in Quantitative Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest. Her passion for the energy industry was sparked at GDF Suez, where she began her career as a portfolio manager. With over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, she currently serves as the Head of the CEO’s Cabinet at MVM CEEnergy, where she is a member of the management and responsible for the development of the company’s business strategy, with a focus on new and green projects.
Previously, Annamária led Hungarian Gas Storage’s international and domestic lobbying efforts and was actively involved in the work of Gas Infrastructure Europe. In recent years, her focus has shifted to analyzing innovation opportunities across the energy value chain, both from a business and regulatory standpoint. She has played a key role in developing plans for sector integration aimed at achieving the decarbonization targets set for 2050, with a particular emphasis on hydrogen and biomethane. She is also one of the founders of the hydrogen-related R&D pilot project Project Aquamarine, launched by HGS.
Annamária is an active member of the International Gas Union (IGU) Sustainability Committee, where she is currently working on a study examining low-carbon gases. In addition, Annamária serves as Chair of the Organization Committee of IGRC2027 (International Gas and Research Conference), a major international conference on gas and energy, where she is leading efforts to ensure its successful organization.
She is also a member of the Industry Advisory Group (IAG), which addresses the EU's goals for reducing import dependency in line with the REPowerEU Plan. As a committed advocate for gender diversity, Annamária is involved in the Women in Energy association, where she supports female graduates as a mentor and promotes gender equality in the energy sector.
