Attila Aszódi

Dr. Attila Aszódi works as full professor at the Institute of Nuclear Techniques of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary). He is currently also the dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Between 2014 and 2019 he used to be government commissioner and later secretary of state responsible for the Paks II. nuclear new build project. He took part in several projects of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the European Commission. He has more than 300 published scientific papers. His research interest is energy policy and sustainability, electricity market and supply security, reactor safety and thermal hydraulics of nuclear reactors.
