Zsolt Jamniczky

Deputy CEO, E.ON Hungaria Zrt.

An International Relations Graduate of Budapest University of Economics (1991) and conducted post graduate law studies at Eötvös Loránd University (1992-1994), Zsolt Jamniczky began his career as a Counsellor of the Foreign Relations Office of the Hungarian Parliament from 1991 to 1995. From 1996 to 2007, he held senior positions in corporate affairs at Reemtsma and later at Philip Morris, working in Budapest, Brussels and Zagreb. In 2007, he joined E.ON Hungária as Director Central Affairs becoming in 2010 Deputy CEO of the group. His responsibilities included regulatory affairs, government relations, corporate communications, marketing, legal affairs, innovation and strategy. As of 2016, he has been Deputy CEO, for customer solutions at Group level, responsible for customer service, energy markets, energy sales, energy solutions sales, construction and O&M, brand and marketing. Since 2011, he has been Vice President of the Hungarian Association of Eurelectric and member of the organization’s Commercial and Customer Committee. Since 2013, he has been a board member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary (BCSDH) and in May 2019 he became director of the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF). Since September 2020, he is the President of the Budapest Electric Sports Association and in addition a board member of the Future Mobility Association, the Smart Future Innovation Cluster and the Joint Venture Association. In 2016, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary.
